This shoe was originally a signature shoe for the young Patrick Ewin around 1986. The official name of these shoes Adidas Ewing Conductor, an enhanced version of the Adidas Ewing Competition. Since Ewing left Adidas in 1989 because it wanted to form its own brand, Adidas can no longer use his name on the product or logo on the tongue.
